        • Kimberley Cruising

          Hi Guys
Last year I made a one hour program which appeared on Community TV Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane here in Australia on cruising the Kimberley coast in the North west of Australia, one of the remotest places in the country, the only access is by sea
I have made a short program of the highlights for showing at Video Club nights
I hope you enjoy a glimpse of a remarkable place

Just popped on edius monochrome filter and a bit of soft focus filter for some close ups.

The subject matter is on a undocumented health worker in U.S. english with local dialect subtitled in english.

                heres a bit of BTS video with a "timelapse" on set construction;

Lee and Deborah got married at the beautiful and romantic chapel at St. Paul's bay.
                      Congratulations!
Wishing you both a very happy married life, may good luck and happiness fill all your future days!
                      Rhodos Dream Wedding Competition Winners
At the recent London ExCeL show The UK Wedding Shows were able to announce the winners in a fabulous competition to win a dream wedding. The competition was launched for the travel market in November 2011 and the island of Rhodes was decorated with several large billboards advertising the competition with extensive media coverage to attract entrants. All of the couples entering the competition were invited to attend the London ExCel show where the winner would be announced and have their prize confirmed. The couple who were selected had chosen to attend the show even though they had to travel some distance and they were surprised to hear their names being read out and be called up to the stage. Deborah, the bride to be, got in touch after the event to share the experience.
“We are now over the shock of winning and so excited about having our dream wedding this year. When I entered the competition I never for one moment thought that we would win. I was looking on a wedding site trying to find some ideas for wedding stationery when I saw the competition advertised. I entered our details and never expected to hear anything back, especially when I saw how many other people had already entered.
On Wednesday evening I got a phone call advising that we were one of fifteen finalists who were invited toLondonfor the show and I could not believe it. It would mean a very early start on the Saturday coming fromManchesterbut we thought if we didn’t come down we would be forever thinking what if. So the train tickets were booked and at 5am on Saturday morning we set off down to London.
Having never been to a wedding show we did not know what to expect when we arrived. We were a little early so we had time to go around all the exhibition stands.
As the draw got closer and we were ushered to our seats it was only then that it hit me that we could actually win the wedding. At no other point did I think we stood a chance of winning. Two minutes later the draw was being made and our names were being read out. I was so shocked that I just sat staring at the announcer and Lee turned to me and said “we’ve won” in disbelief.
It was only towards the end of the day when the shock gave way to excitement that it sank in that we would be married in 16 weeks. As we got on the train home and went through all the leaflets and brochures we had been given by the sponsors showing what we had won we felt amazing. We love theislandofRhodosand to know that we will be getting married there, in the warm sunshine, with the beautiful backdrop of St Pauls Bay, is such a wonderful feeling. Both Lee and I can’t wait to go through all the details and see the wedding come to life. “

                            • What is the format you ended up with to pit the anaglyph version on to the web from 6.5 i.e. did you edit story export to Canopus HQ with the anaglyph format selected? Then did you convert to mp4 in edius without anaglyph applied or what? I would be very grateful tyo know as I am wrestling with trying to put 3d on the web. All steps taken by you and noted would be perfect. Your output picture is excellent Thanks

                              • Ha!

You probably are not referring to my clip, as it is extra mushy - I like everything soft and squidgy, even in 3D.

Workflow for me was: export side by side 1920x1080 HQX then import to TNPgenc 5 and export mp4 1920x1080 progressive (5000kbs). You could also do this in Edius - mp4 SBS too.

When you upload to the Tube, they ask if the file is 3D, so make your settings at this point. Youtube then encodes and creates the anaglyph etc etc. so you can watch 2D or 3D at various quality settings.

                                Paul :-)
