In the old forum there used to be a special heading for things like this. The videos that a recent post referred to could go there as well. This would keep the Edius operation and usage section free. IMO

For now, I'm merging all threads on EDIUS productions, and sticking the thread.

Something else is in the works for showing EDIUS productions, but is unlikely to be completed this year.

                  Hi all,

Hopefully the last comment I make in this thread. I have just two simple points for this one:

                  1. All links and responses are subject to the rules of these forums. Anything that violates these rules will be removed. This also counts for unhelpful, borderline inflammatory comments (a clever snipe, is still a snipe)
                  2. If you plan to post here, please try to keep it relevant and interesting, or at the very least, explain what you are trying to show with your video(s). A little less randomness, please.

You guys can see some of my stuff on my signature link, all cut with Edius, except the Blur clip which was edited with an Ampex controller and a handful of 1"C format machines about 20 years ago - if anyone remembers what they were!

                    Feel free to criticise!

                        Can you enbed here?

Obviously you can't enbed video here - so here is another link:

This Was shot way back in 2003 at Texas motor Speedway - shot with a GL-1 and edited on whatever version of Edius was current! : )

                          Wedding video intro montage

back before I quit doing wedding videos - I shot this on HX-A1 and edited on Edius 3.X

The editing isn't so impressive -but it was enjoyable to do and easily thrown together on Edius.

                            One last one -

Ok - I'll quit hogging this thread -

Just one more - This is a video I edited for my brother-in-law who is a football coach in East Texas. I didn't shoot any of this video - just edited. The footage came from and sideline camera and a coaches camera up in the box. The effects were mostly done in After effects (including a few key-framed lens flares) but the slow-motion was all done in Edius 3.x. It was blast to edit this - a lot of fun.
