This video, I did as a freebee for a friend who owns a paintball field, every year he honors DDAY landings and hosts a paintball event. I used a mix of Stock film , dv and GoPro footage. All footage edited in Edius Pro4.61 and a few many beers ;)

'This is my art' - cheers to Edius 6
I worked from around half midnight to 4 am to do this start to finish;
And we turn. Constantly. You rise. Moving. Further and further. Quicker. But.. slower. I reach to the heavens and I ask 'Why?'Featuring;Rainbow Serpen...
I'm really enjoying what Edius can do the more time I spend with it, it's fast; this piece has various ProDad Vitascene transitions and filters, uses a bit of layouter shifting (the right to left pan on the glowing tent for example), some speed changes from 20% to 250%, some 'old movie' edius filters and the intro and outro 'Bravo Charlie' are done via the NewBlue Titler Pro demo I got a few days ago. Aside from the Titler this is all 'Edius 6 out of the box'.
Footage was shot on a combination of Sony HDR-CX550, Sony NEX-5 and an iPhone 4 (the timelapses of graffiti and hall dancing for example), narration captured via Zoom h4n sitting inside a cardboard box lined with acoustic foam.
The equations moving towards you and floating blue world are istock, as is the background audio and ending chime, otherwise all filmed myself, edited on a Samsung RF511 laptop (i7, 6 gig of ram, Nvidia mobile chip and a Momentus ssd-hdd hybrid).
Extremely happy with the results considering software ($800-/+) and laptop ($1k) cost less than 2 grand. The ShuttleProV2 is a godsend too. I would be loathe to edit without it.
Generally I output projects as 720p 23.96 fps mov as everything goes to YouTube.
Thanks for everyones contributions to these forums; I'm enjoying the learning.
Regards,
Philip Bateman

My latest project, and first done fully in Edius 6.06. The multicam mode came in very handy for the gig footage. Overall it was a very slick performance from the software (once I got over initial problems), allowing playback of full hd files from Canon dslrs and Panasonic AVCHD camcorders without rendering (apart from a couple of scenes where the number of filters got a bit heavy).

Likely wouldn't be live now though without the help of the folk on this forum though. I was having major audio/video sync issues when I first installed and started working on this project. So thanks guys!Edius 9.5, Windows 10 x64, Asus P6X58D, Intel i7 950 @ 3.07GHz, 10GB DDR3 Corsair RAM, 2 x NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

EDIUS is king
Shot with Magic lantern today (on the 5DII) in which you can bump up your average MB/s on DSLR footage - up to 65MB/s. EDIUS still edited in real time....lovely :)
When I go out, I wear my EDIUS T-Shirt.
