          • One of the clips I made yesterday with Edius and some vitascene. The couple are the wedding hall's owner's son and daughter-in-law (wow, that's a mouthful!) Enjoy. (Switch to 1080 in youtube to see it better)

                • Alona kew white beach resort promotional video

Here's another resort promotion I did last May.
Used Graphics rendered as CHQ + alpha on the timeline to spice up some
                  alpha transitions.
For this project I ended up with 6 video tracks and 10 audio tracks running
"mostly" real time on an HD Spark card.

                  • Irene in The Stream

A posting on YouTube from the recent storm that devastated parts of the Catskill Mountains. Shot with single chip 1080i and edited on Edius (of course!) There are quite a few videos that show the effects of the storm on towns and villages...mine is about a small stream that reached high water on its way to the nearby Ashokan Reservoir.

                        Thank you.
About that curved "rainbow stripe" Yes, its part of the edius timeline, this is another thing I want to highlight about Edius.

Its ability to handle AVIs WITH an alpha channel in real time.

That swash was a rendered graphic in AE using canopus HQ codec+alpha.

It occupies the topmost layer on top of a layer in the EDIUS timline, below it are clips with alpha or stripe transition, and it sorts of "hides" the wipe.

                        • A project that I did about two years ago shot in 4:3 and delivered in 16:9.
It was part of a graduate recruitment programme (Student Orientation Programme for Automotive Engineering) for Volkswagen Group of South Africa.

Ted please explain how you export the AVI with alpha from AE.

                            • Volkswagen would have been very happy with that. A good example of what can be done in Edius well done. IMHO the sideways titles were confusing especially when it came to name of the speakers.
