Had to dig up my archives and mix it with recent footage, from SVHS,DV,HDV to DSLR's AVCHD.
These were shot with Panny AG460, Sony VX1000, Panny DVX100, JVC HD100-200, Canon 7D.
Framerates varied from 60i, 60P, 30P, 24P.
Its quite an emergency of sorts, my country's tourism slumped recently after a botched hostage rescue killed several Chinese tourists.
This weekend my province is sending a delegation to China and I was tasked to put together a promotional video. we are hoping to bring back lost opportunity.
EDIUS X WG with BM Mini Monitor 4k and BM Mini Recorder, Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro, Intel Core i9 9960X 16 Core, 32 Threads @ 4.3Ghz, Corsair Water Cooling, Gigabyte RTX-2070 Super 3X 8GB Video Card, Samsung 860 Pro 512GB SSD for System, 8TB Samsung Raid0 SSD for Video, 2 Pioneer BDR-209 Blu-ray/DVD burners, Hotswap Bay for 3.5" Sata and 2.5" SSD, Phanteks Enthoo Pro XL Tower, Corsair 32GB DDR4 Ram, Win10 Pro
In this commercial I just finished cutting, there are underwater scenes and a lot of outdoor shots wherein you are pretty much at the mercy of the weather.
In some overcast scenes I was surprised how EDIUS was good at pulling detail from highlights and shadows from a DSLR avchd footage than when I try it in AE!

Very impressive Ted. A great job with the musical accompaniment too. Everything worked really well together.
Presumably you used a slider dolly for some shots, but I was also interested in the revolving shots of the food platters at 1:25. Were these just hand-held shots of still subjects?
A demo of Edius 5:51 with Edius 6.0.1 with various plugins, including Title Deko Pro in Edius 6.0.1. Both Edius are on the same partition on the same system, both work 100%, no lock, Edius simply the best in the world.

Thanks trackranger,
Actually I used a full track dolly for most tracking shots, there was a tracking shot which I used my own DIY made "mini track and jib" due to space constraints, similar to a slider but it uses wheels so technically not a slider. I show how its made here, http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread...p-Jib-(2-in-1)
