Basic question

I have been playing around with Edius for a few days and I would like to know the process to convert HDV footage to the canopus hq format if you dont capture it via firewire. I have a z5u with compact flash recorder and just drag and drop the files to my computer.

In the Bin, Right-click and convert.
It's that simple.
