Hmm..sorry to hear that this is making it worth for you..quite strange though.
What kind of .wav did you use?
From my understanding, there is a problem with certain Broadcast .waves...i wasnt using .bwf as a file extension, as i know Edius had problems with thtat earlier..but in the end such kind of .wav-files from Sound Device/Tascam and other recording media are still in that broadcast standart.
This problem was true for me in 5.11, i am quite puzzeled that this happens for you (even worse?) in the 5.12 update..what kind of format do the other files that cant relink have?
Edius 6.52
Windows 7-64bit
8GB RAM
Intel Core I5, M450@2,40GHz
Thought it would be better to bump this post then make a new one.
So if you are doing a clean install of EDIUS, is the process now: 5.00 (disk) -> 5.10 -> 5.12?
I was confirmed that 5.10 includes that 5.01 patch files. So basically, does 5.12 include the 5.11 patch files or does 5.11 still need to be installed before 5.12?
Note: This package can only upgrade an existing system. That is, you will need to have installed EDIUS v5.10 software. If you are installing on a fresh system, you will need to first install from your original CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, apply the v5.10 update (the 3D Picture-in-Picture hotfix is not needed), and then apply this update. You will also need to have your security dongle inserted.

5.11 status was created by the 3D PIP hotfix.
Ah, alright. Guess I missed that. Was around 5AM when I found my way to the download page.
I know the 5.11 patch was just a hotfix, was just not sure if it was needed before installing 5.12 patch.
i got to say i use Win XP64... recently updated to service pack 2 that allows me to install newers versions of quicktime (before it i was unabble to install 7.5 or 7.6) and just installed the new quicktime 7.62...
