    Is this the official Update?

    Anybody tried it?
    I am also curious, as i had this "Restore-Issue" i described in a different post..maybe things changed..would like to read what they fixed with 5.12..Anybody?

                Well. I thought I was doing something wrong when all my files are to be "restored" ... man, that was a big pain!
                Then, lost the links again.

                I hope this new update fix that.

                      Update of 5.12 on top of Trial?

                      Is it possible to put the update of 5.12 on top of the trial or not?

                      Id like to try that on a 2nd PC before installing it on my main system..in a first test i had serious restore problems..

                      It would be nice to know if this is possible and if the transition to Edius 5 makes sense to me in the end..without any majot hickups..!

                        No, because you need to have the dongle plugged into the system during installation.

                            Thanks..did it with the Dongle and it worked..good to say that the update solves the Re-link issue for me..!

                            So i might migrate to Edius 5 finally..still feel shaky about it, but wont finish my big Documentary-project before 2010 and have to do other stuff at the same time..so i guess its worth it to try..!
