  • Where is the lower field option

Hi Guys. Is there anyone out there. I have created at least 4 threads now and no response. Could someone please verify that my account is actually active. Also, I am looking for the lower field first option while creating a dvd m2p for dvd authoring. For some reason I now only have the option for a upper filed 1st which I think is causing problems on the dvd. Look s jumpy.

I hope this forum works. Rob

I have read many times on this and previous forums from knowledgeable sources that, for output, UFF is fine

      Hi,
I always use upper field first when authoring DVD's. If your finished DVD is jumpy throughout check which field you have selected for the input file. DV is usually lower field first in most applications - but not all apparently. Check your clips within Edius, should be Lower field first, use (clip properties to check) and check what your encoder is accepting as input.
