Hi all,
Two quick quirks. I've upgraded to Edius 5.11
It seems to me before (unless I'm having a senior moment) that if I imported a 16x9 clip into a 4x3 project, it would correctly display as letterboxed 16x6 within the 4x3 frame. Now it just displays as 4x3 pan-and-scan--meaning the left and right edges are cut off, and the video is full frame 4x3. I can to into video layout and manually reconfigure, but before it was always automatic. Video properties are correctly set, and if I change the project settings to 16x9, the clip displays properly.
Also, has anybody had a problem with speed control? If I try to alter the speed of an audio only clip, I can only alter it once....then the speed control is grayed out. The only way to change this is to roll back the project to before the incorrect speed control.
In other words, I used to be able to alter a music clip to, say, 101%, then say, no, back to 100% using speed control, no problem. Now, if I alter to 101%, I have to do Control Z to roll back the entire project. This is very time consuming when trying to find the exact amound of speed up/down I might need.
Any ideas on either? I'm doing a project with extensive aspect ratio changes and audio speed changes and it's getting very weird!
