I made a master of a quartet competition. Then I was making individual quartet projects from the master. Instead of "save as" and naming it with the proper quartet name, I hit the save button. Then shut down Edius to make a DVD. To my dismay when I opened up the master quartet project, it was no longer there. Auto Save files were also overwritten. Is there an archive retrieval like in Adobe? Please say, "yes".

The only project I found was the one that I overwrote it with. I was hoping to find a couple of previous saves I could go back to. On my Adobe I had set it for 5, and it saved my hide a few times when the computer would crash.

        Any other suggestions?

Edius saves 10 such auto backups, you will find them in a sub folder of your edius project folder

they are read only, so you need to save to a new file
