  • Custom Size (Dimension) (Edius 4.5)

    Hello, i'm new here.
Can i set the project size for manually?
I don'nt want to use the system preset (720x576, etc), (but still keep the aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9)

    I'm using Edius 4.5
I'm sorry for my bad english, I from Indonesia :D

you can set any Pal size as long as it is part of Pal Broadcast spec

    720x576
    1280x720
    1440x1080
    1920x1080

anything else is not Pal Broadcast and can't be set for a project setting

No - you cannot. EDIUS is coded for broadcast standards - so anything that deviates from broadcasting standards cannot be edited.

well that is not entirely accurate.
It can be edited but in a project with one of the broadcast standards. :)

Why can't you edit it in the standard preset and then on output to web, with your transcode package, resize the video? Or, am I missing something.
