  • Question about Burn to Disc

I am trying to use the built in DVD/Bluray disc creator in Edius 5.1. I have use the Burn to Disc function to create some basic DVDs for approval purposes but decided to give it a whirl for a final DVD since working off the timeline seems that it would save some time.

My DVD menus are very basic with a frame grab background and text links down the side. No motion elements or fancy features. Burn to Disc creates a Title Label and a Play Button for each chapter point.

I don't want a Title Label. Only a Play Button. I can change the Play Button to a text button and accomplish all I need. How do I get rid of the Title Label? I tried deleting it but can't find a way to do so. I also discovered I could change the label to a picture but not assign a graphic file and it would just be blank/invisible. Will this invisible label affect the compatibility functionality of the DVD in anyway? My concern is there are uneeded invisible graphic elements floating around that could impact the playability of the DVD.
Main System. MSI G33m Motherboard, Intel Q6600 CPU, 2GB Ram, GeForce 9500GT, 7200rpm System drive. WinXP. Lots of external eSATA drives.

Laptop. Sony Vaio. CPU- i7-Gen 3, 8gb RAM, 1tbb 5400rpm hard drive, AMD GPU

I don't think you can "remove" the label, but you can remove the text within.
If you don't like a picture, you can resize it to 0 pixels.

maybe you forgot to change to DVD in style tab

by default, it is set to Blu-Ray and of course this would take longer

You can also right-click and select "Hide object" from the menu.
