Capturing DV

Hello,
My problem is with capuring DV. After completing the settings and choosing player, the "F9" I'm only able to capture 1.2 seconds and nothing more. What am I missing? I'm new to this program so any help would be greatly aprreciated. I have several programs and have had no issues capturing the DV 16:9.

which deck or camera are you capturing from? are you able to control the device with the buttons on the preview window such as play, rewind and FF

Sony HDR HC3, yes, I am able to use the controls

is your project an OHCI project or do you use hardware such as NX?

which drive did you select as the capture drive? is the drive NTFS?

when you click the red capture button on player window, it starts capturing and then stops a second later and places that clip in the root bin?

Thanks all for the good input. I uninstalled Edius 4. Reinstalled, downloaded the patch 4.24 and now I am able to capture with my Sony HDR-HC3
