Footage Floating in timeline

Hey guys this is pretty strange lately when ever I drop clips on the time line they are about -48 Pixels above the time line int he playback window. In other words on EVERY CLIP I must hit F7 and then center each clip one by one... what gives?

I figure I must have messed something up somewhere but I can't figure out what. This is on a NX system

Hey it appears only to be happening on DV clips not on HD clips...

still seeking a solution

you changed the default layout position
hit f7, select the "original" preset and save as default...
