Capturing DV With MS Codec

Just looked at the product info for DVCapture and wonder if this statement may prevent my using it:
You must have one of the following Canopus products installed to use this software:
* DVStorm Series
* DVStorm2 Series
* DVRaptor RT Series
* DVRex RT Series
* DVRex M1 w/ RT Option
* DVStorm XA/EDIUS DVX
* EDIUS Pro v4.1
* EDIUS Broadcast v4.1
* EDIUS NX Series
* EDIUS SP Series
My Storm system is being used for another project - I was hoping to use the Edius/Spark system for capturing.

OK thanks - I'll certainly have a look at it. I wasn't aware it even existed.

dvcapture is on the edius 5 disk and the latest version is in the download section.
It has the ability to capture in MS format

Actually I'm pretty sure DV Capture isn't on my system. I could reinstall Scenalyzer but I really don't use it anymore and don't like installing software for "one time" projects.
I have CS4 installed, but never use PPro - maybe I can fire it up and learn how to capture with it.

Capturing DV With MS Codec
Somebody came to me with several DV tapes that they want captured to a hard drive (they want to then edit/use the video for their own purposes). I was about to capture and realized that I should use MS codec instead of the Canopus codec if they were to do the editing. Is there a way to force Edius to capture using MS codec? Pretty sure I've done this when I had Scenalyzer on my system but not quite sure how to do with Edius.
Using Edius 5.
