Canopus HQ won't play correctly

When I try to play a Canopus HQ file in Media player or Nero showtime I get a wicked flicker. I updated my Edius to 4.24, which has given me other problems and did not fix the flicker problem. Any ideas? I dual boot this computer with Vista and it plays fine in Vista but not under XP. Looks fine in Edius.

Try different options under Tools -> Options -> Performance -> Advanced. Take note of the current selection before you start so you can restore them if needed, I've come across instances where specific combinations of these options can cause Edius to display a black Recorder window.
