Special Versions of Edius 4 for JVC ProHD?

I have an opportunity to buy a used version of "Edius version 4 for JVC ProHD". They say it is optimized for editing JVC ProHD HDV footage. Are there special versions of Edius that only work with specific formats or would this just be the standard Edius 4. I ask because I don't have JVC ProHD and actually am working primarily with SD DV captured through Canopus Storm right now. Any specifics/caveats about special versions of Edius 4 appreciated. Thanks.

I would "guess" that that was just a promotion JVC had going with Canopus/Grass valley. Im sure its fine.

Highly doubt there's a special version for JVC. I've used JVC footage in EDIUS 4 without a problem.

The newest version is 5.0 by the way.

Sounds to me it's just Edius 4 pro Broadcast version, does the software license come with 2 Dongles ?

This is just the standard version of Edius 4... There is nothing optimized on it...
It was given for free with a purchase of a new JVC ProHD camcorder....

I also remember that was another promotion where the user was eligible to buy the NX board (+HD expansion) at a very special price...
