  • TMPro and text with boxes

I normally create my titles in TMPro - less learning curve and faster. I have a question that got me stumped.

I create titles with coloured boxes around the titles to highlight it (so it won't get lost into the background).

Uses two title tracks for that - on Track 1, put the rectangular box. On Track 2, put the words over the box.

So, when you play it back, the box overlays the video, and the words overlay the box.

    So far so good.

    Now - my problems -

    (a) if the words are "still", no issue. If the words are "crawl" - from right to left, how do I "sync" the box with the words then?

    (b) How do I make the coloured boxes themselves a bit more transparent - currently, the boxes are solid colours only.

    why 2 title tracks?

I draw the box in the same title as the text and it will be automatically behind text

in the attached image, you can see how to set transparency

          Thank you, very much.

TMPro don't come with any documentation - and I have a hard time figuring out the various tasks ....
