Claire,
You MUST install WIN XP 32 first in partition A, then followed by VISTA 64 in partition B.
This is to allow VISTA 64 to override the boot mgr code of WIN XP 32.Leave a comment:

tingsern, I guess I will need to do the same (dual boot) as I do have quite a lot a lot of older software. What would you suggest I install first, WinXP32 or Vista 64? Does it matter?Leave a comment:

I am running the even older version of NX - using PCI-X for the main board, and PCI 32 for the HD component board. I have both Win XP 32 and Win Vista 64 on this workstation - and they worked perfectly.Leave a comment:

It'll be fine - all NX variations are supported under Windows Vista x64.Leave a comment:

Just to be clear, mine is not the current NX Express which consists of 2 PCI Express x1 bus cards. It is the previous version where the HD expansion card is STANDARD PCI (not "E"). Okay?
I need to know for definite, not just "maybe it will", thanks!Leave a comment:

The PCIe + PCI version? Don't see why it shouldn't work. The drivers are there.Leave a comment:

Does the NX (PCIe) with HD expansion (PCI) work with Vista 64?
I have the earlier NX with PCI HD ecpansion board, this comes up as 'HX-E2' in WinXP device manager, if I go to Vista 64 will this still work?
Reason, thinking of moving to an Asus PT6 with i7 processor and obviously more than just 2GB of ram.Tags: None
