Since you're talking about DV, you could use Scenealyzer to capture the material and then bring it into the Edius bin.Leave a comment:

Damn I got a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks Aristotelis
My timecode,Aspect ratio and audio sampling rate are all fine so those options won't work for me. Damn I got a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks Paranova Films.Leave a comment:

I'm working on a job with mini dv tapes with timecode but no time/date stamp so Edius can not automatically divide files when the recorded time data changes. I remember back when I had Canopus RT system there was an option to "divide files at scene change" or something like that. So I could capture a single 60 min. mini dv tape, place it on the timeline, select that option as described above, and it would place a cut point at each scene break/change.
It was pretty accurate except for bright flashes from strobes. Does Ver. 5 have that option ? I just ordered the upgrade last week and haven't rec'd it yet.
Thanks.
hope it helpsLast edited by Paranova Films; 05-16-2009, 09:26 PM.Leave a comment:
