  • Scene Detect in Ver 5 ?

I'm working on a job with mini dv tapes with timecode but no time/date stamp so Edius can not automatically divide files when the recorded time data changes. I remember back when I had Canopus RT system there was an option to "divide files at scene change" or something like that. So I could capture a single 60 min. mini dv tape, place it on the timeline, select that option as described above, and it would place a cut point at each scene break/change.
It was pretty accurate except for bright flashes from strobes. Does Ver. 5 have that option ? I just ordered the upgrade last week and haven't rec'd it yet.
    Thanks.

in your app settings under "deck" you can set it to capture and divide the file

My timecode,Aspect ratio and audio sampling rate are all fine so those options won't work for me. Damn I got a lot of work ahead of me. Thanks Paranova Films.

Since you're talking about DV, you could use Scenealyzer to capture the material and then bring it into the Edius bin.
