What material are you editing? SD or HD?

I don't use Adobe Premiere plugin from Canopus. Maybe some other folks can help you here.

When you start EDIUS, it detects that you have multiple input devices (OHCI - Firewire input, and your DVX card) - you have to decide which device you want to use for input (and output). If you select the wrong device (OHCI - for example) - then your DVX card won't work - and you won't get realtime playback on your TV.

Make sure you connect the TV, and other input/output peripherals correctly to the DVX card.

They are indeed different cards, also the "plugins" where made for the DVStorm(2,Pro), so not sure if they work with anything else.

GV should answer this, but as this is also related to ppr, I can guess what the answer is, if any .............

                        Here you go http://www.smartdv.co.uk/product.php/116/0/

This is more like a budget / entry level solution, like Let's Edit or Neo with it's own card.

EDIUS DVX (DVStorm XA Plus in Asia), is a legacy product that sits somewhere between the old DVRaptor RT2 and DVStorm.

It's a different boardset compared with DVStorm/2/Pro (despite the name). Like its bretheren, the development and engineering of both firmware and software for this product has well and truly ended.
