output to monitor

im using 3.6 and i get a playback on preview monitor, but nothing on external. im going firewire from deck into dvstorm and out of deck into monitor. any idea why?

DVStorm has out connections to use external monitor, why you don't use it?

and anyway you can use your firewire camcorder to monitor out... just chech the camcorder settings to allow that.
