ADVC-100 Firewire question

Can I use a 6-pin (firewire) to 6-pin for this unit or do I need the IEEE 1394 4-pin to 6-pin? I do not have the latter and would like to know if the 6-pin to 6-pin will work. Thanks,

6-pin to 6-pin should work fine. You just plug it into the rear of the unit.
