I need help with the ADVC 55

I just bought it...Seriously like 3 days ago.
It was working fine and then it just stopped. The light wont come on. I have it plugged in right and everything. I am VERY mad. Any help?

Try it on another computer if you can, then take a nap and when you wake up give Tech Support a call.

Waiting for forum responses when you're already mad will just make you madder.

I'm not so happy to see that message ...
I also have the ADVC-55 and teh same is working for 2 tape without any problems ... but now doesn't work any more !
The light flashing green-red and during the conversion I lose frames and the sound was corrupted
Your problem it seam taht ADVC-55 have some big problem

Sounds like something's conflicting with your capture software, or perhaps your video input signal's sync is inadequate.

There's also a possibility that your Firewire bus isn't providing enough power.

Try a simple capture application like WinDV.

Sorry I tryed with my ADVC-55 and WinDV software ... NOTHING !
The led of the ADVC-55 is always RED and nothing can be captured ...
Tha ADVC-55 DOSEN'T WORK !

In that case, it sounds like a failure of the ADVC unit itself. Set up an RMA with your local dealer/distributor once they are available.
