  • ADVC power supply

Could you tell me what dose it mean the power supply specification on the ADVC-55 User Manual ?
I can read 5V to 40V (??), it mean that I can use a power supply that provide an output from 5V to 40V without damage the ADVC-55 ?
Also I can read 80mA to 620mA, it mean that I can use a power supply that provide an output from 80mA to 620mA without damage the ADVC-55 ?
    What is the difference ?

    Thanks

    Luca

Those are the theoretical limits. However, using a power supply other than the approved power supply will void your warranty.

I know that warranty will void, but Canopus Support doesn't help me about my problem, so I have to try to solve it by myself ...
I'm very sorry to tell that, but I'm a regular customer, my ADVC-55 is regular regitered on Canopus Web Site, and after 4 days no one from Canopus answered to my official support request ...
In Italy Canopus products are not so cheap, my ADVC-55 cost more that 200,00€ WITHOUT POWER SUPPLY (!!!!), so I pretend a little more consideration from Canopus and fi he can't help me I wil try by myself ... do you thinj that someone in Canopus can understand if my ADVC-55 was powered by an unofficial power supply ?
      Really ??

Sure, if they ask you and you tell them, or if they ask you to send in the power supply.

Have you tried asking your dealer for help?

They can't aks me the Power Supply because I haven't buyed it
The dealer told me to ask directly to the Italian Canopus distributors, that his closed till September for holiday ... fantastic !
I repeat is not a good support service for a unit that cost more than 200,00€ !

I'm not sure what to tell you. I don't know Italian holidays.
