ADVC55 protocol support? (AV/C, DCAM, IIDC)

Hello all,

I'm considering using Streampix 4 for multiple camera DVR functions, but I am unclear about what Firewire protocol the ADVC55 uses?

Is it AV/C only, or can it support the other IEEE-1394 protocols such as DCAM and IIDC, this is important because Streampix supports most of the instrumentation and industrial Firewire cameras.

Please comment....

It's the same as a DV camera/deck, so it's AV/C only.
