Oh dear - looks like I need to hit someone for not giving me the software to put on the downloads section.

Let me get on that one for you!

The Windows version is now up in the downloads section for ADVC300.

I'll put the Mac OS version up when I get a bit more time..

Does this work in Windows XP x64 ? (most 32 bit apps do, but I'm just asking, since it's controlling hardware(?) it can sometimes be a catch..)

I would say "no" but then, I haven't tried.

Has anybody tested this software with Windows XP x64 / 64bit ?
Does it work? Firewire I/O works just fine in it.

My system has DirectX, is entirely up-to-date, and honestly, it's the best desktop OS MicroSoft has created to this date. Better than Vista i.m.o.

                I believe it should work.

My primary machine at home is XP x64. OS-wise, I agree, it's great.
The problem is that we're still missing x64-compatible drivers for a great many products...

Because of that, I ended up running Virtual Server with an XP 32-bit install on it so I could use some x64-unfriendly stuff like VPN (virtual network device), network USB (virtual USB device) and PDF printer (virtual printer).

And now I've just been using my laptop mostly... Eventually I'll get my x64 machine set up again.

By the way, for those who'd like to know:

The Picture Controller Utility works just fine under Windows XP Professional x64 edition!
I have just tested it using a Hi8 camera input (s-video plug analog in).

                        Picture Controller - ADVC300

Can someone please send me or point me in the direction of the picture controller utility that comes with the ADVC300 converter?

I can't seem to find ANY access to download this and I require it urgently.

I'm asking because the CD I have has a crack in it and is unusable.

                        Many thanks in advance.

If you register your product you will then have access to download the Picture Controller 300 and other product-related downloads.

                          Ken.
