No HD, and no updates (it's a hardware codec).
It will do 16:9, but remember that the decoded analog output will be 4:3 frame, so it's up to your display device to properly stretch the image to 16:9.

ACEDVio & HD or 16:9
A commercial project coming up will require shooting in 16:9 format. Will this capture card accept that using the DV input and then DV output back to the camera?
Will this card handle the HD formats of 480p or i, 720p or i, and 1080i?
Is there an update that will make these formats available on this card if they aren't allready.
