  • ADVC G1 - Replacement Power Supply

I have two 'ADVC-G1' - Any IN to 3G-SDI - Converters, and one original power supply.

It was made by the UNIFIVE manufacturer and has a BIG 4 Pin DIN connector that attaches to the Converter to provide power.

    UNI336-1230

    12 Volt, 3 Amp

(I think?) the Plug type is called PL07B

    The four pins are wired backwards 'Z' pattern according to the wiring diagram on the power adapter, it looks very custom;

    1 - GND
    2 - 12 Volt
    3 - GND
    4 - 12 Volt

    That puts the pattern as:

    12+ GND+
    12+ GND+

I don't know the gender of the diagram, and have not used a multimeter to find out.

My point here is is this is Uber 'bespoken' and not common.. there are many Laptop and External DVD or HDD power supplies with similar connectors, but ('none' aka 'zero') that have this custom power pin arrangement.

I've put a lot of time into looking on eBay, Amazon and other places.. and come up empty.

I've also kind of been looking for one to appear used magically on eBay or some place for months.. but none ever do.

In fact the ADVC-G series seem to sell for Top dollar "used" and almost always "without" a power adapter.

I don't know why they never include the power adapter.. except for carelessness, or because they eventually wear out and get used up.

Since the re-sale market appears brisk for the ADVC-G series.. am I missing something apparent?

Is this a standard power adapter that's easy to source.. and I'm just fundamentally inexperienced at finding one?

    Thanks
