Twin Pact 100 disk too slow error

Thought I'd post because after running solidly for several events, my setup is regularly stopping and giving me disk too slow errors.

My setup is very simple. TwinPact 100 connected via firewire to laptop IBM T61.

Capturing to onboard hard drive through the supplied Twin Commander software with nothing else running in Windows XP.

What is your disk usage at the moment? (ie. %age of free vs used)

Have you tried defragmenting your drive?

Is your disk still being accessed in DMA mode? To check your disk, you can download HD Tune. Run it and click on the Info tab, then down the bottom right corner make sure next to Active it is showing UDMA Mode. My laptop looks like the attached picture.

You can also run the benchmark to check the disk speed.
