Quality: ADVC-55 vs ADVC-110

Is it exactly same picture quality between ADVC-55 and ADVC-110?
If I don't need analog output can I get ADVC-55 and be sure I do not loose quality? (chip inside, nois level etc)

Yes, it's the same encoder hardware between the ADVC55 and 110.

However, we find that a lot of the time people end up getting ADVC110's because they want to view their captured result on a TV.
