ADVC100 & 10.4 Compatability?

Hello out there!
I am successfully able to use my ADVC100 with Final Cut Pro (Ver. 3) using system 10.3, however recently, I jumped up to 10.4 on my laptop and unfortunately, the unit is no longer recognized.
What can be done to get FCP 3 going in OSX 10.4? I do not use Imovie at this time.
