All lights ON in advc 100 that is normal?

All lights ON, and it's a new advc 100 unit

Two things:

1, the problem. From personal experience the unit is toast. Answer to this from Canopus is there must have been some kind of surge that fried it, which from past experience is a valid response.

2, a ADVC100 being new. That unit has not been made in many years. Are you sure it's not a 110?

And if it is indeed a new ADVC110 unit, then are you using an AC power adapter? If not, it is possible your firewire port is not supplying sufficient power.
