ADVC 110 Troubles

Hello,

I bought this device a month ago. When i ried it with my computer firewire port (card which i received with pinnacle studio 9) It did not power like they mentionned it would from a 6 pin to 6 pin cable. So i went to a retail store and tested it on another computer (was a dell) and it worked find, recognized right on the spot. I assumed then it was a lack of power exiting from my PCI Card so i bought the power Ac power cord. When i tried it on my computer again both digital and analog lights stayed on (could not switch) and the status light did not light up. Any advice on what step to take next? Thanks in advance.
