Need help on OSX & ADVC100

CANOPUS: ADVC 100
SOFTWARE: FCP 3 & PEAK 3

Hey everyone!
Need some help. I just bought a Canopus ADVC100.
In the section "About This Mac" on my G4, the ADVC100 shows up in the Firewire port profile (Connected in the back with a 6pin). Although it shows up in the system profile, it doesn't come up in Final Cut Pro or PeakDV. Need suggestions to get it up and running. Any help would be appreciated.

It should appear just like a standard DV camera/deck would.

Since you have an ADVC100, make sure you have the power adapter plugged in (don't laugh - sometimes folks get overexcited and forget).

Try iMovie. It's a good test to verify function.

If it works in iMovie, then your FCP preference file needs to be trashed.
