ADVC 100 vs ADVC 110

Hi i was wondering what are the differences between ADVC 100 and 110. Does it worth upgrading from 100 to 110?

There aren't a lot of functional differences. Basically, the ADVC110 has:

- a white colour!
- can be powered with 6-pin FireWire
- supports audio-only conversion
- less inputs (you only have 1 x analog inputs, whereas ADVC100 had 2x - front and rear).

ADVC100 also had a secondary set of analog inputs via a 7-pin DIN (supports S-Video, or composite via included converter cable) and stereo mini-jack on the back. The front input took precedence over the rear input.

I haven't seen an advc 100 lately but i remember that this devise could overcome macrovision protection as well.... :-)

not 100% sure though....
