  • ADVC110 produces Hi Contrast/dark image

My source is analog video and I'm converting to dv. The dip switches are set on default. Once the video is converted to dv the video is dark and hi contrast compared to the source. How can I adjust or control the brightness/contrast of the converted dv? I'm using a Mac OS 10.4. Thanks, Jeff

Are you watching the captured DV on your computer monitor? Burn a short segment to DVD (use a rewriteable disc) and watch it on your TV. If it looks right on your TV, then you need to adjust the video overlay settings on your monitor.
