  • ADVC-100 all three lights on?

I have a Canopus ADVC-100 that is almost 5 years old and it has worked flawlessy until last weekend. When I start it all three lights (digital, analog and setup) all light up and then it does nothing. Before it would come on with both the blue digital and analog lights and then settle on digital. I would push the button to analog and capture as mush as I want. Anybody know if there is anything I can do to fix it. I've search the net and haven't found much. What would Canopus charge to take a look at it, anybody know?

    Thanks in advance.

If the unit is less than 3 years old, that kind of repair should be covered under your warranty. However, since it is not, there will definitely be a charge. As for how much that would be, you'd have to call Tech Support to find out. They should be able to tell you right over the phone how much it will cost and how long it will take.

Old thread, but thought I would post this in here anyway for anyone else needing this information. At this point, since all the ADVC100 units should be out of warranty, they can not be repaired anymore by Canopus, even for a fee. If for some reason you have an invoice showing otherwise, they will repair it, but anything over three years is out of luck.

Well, after not using my ADVC-100 for at least a year, I'm having the same issue. I turn it on and all 3 lights remain on.

I assume since no one replied back that there isn't a solution short of trashing it and buying a replacement? No one has any idea what's causing it so we can at least a 'home remedy?'

          Thanks.
