ADVC-1394 Question

I purchased this card many years ago with the intent of transferring my old beta, VHS and Hi-8 home movies to DVD.

Fast foward about 4-5 years and I'm just getting around to it. Yes, I do procrastinate.

My question is this, does anyone have any suggestions regarding whether I should consider replacing the Vegas Video LE 3.0 and WinProducer software that was bundled with the software?

If so, does anyone have any suggestions of software that would work well with this card. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Anything that works with a DV camcorder connected via FireWire will work.

I'd start with the bundled software first just because you already have it, then decide if you want to pay for other software.
