Default HD storm

Hi,
Has anyone tried to install the HD Storm on Vista 64bit with the 32bit drivers that come with the HD Storm, Just wondering as Vista 64bit is backwoods compatible. Also has anyone heard any news on the Vista 64bit Drivers for this card, as a lot of new cards are being released soon and some with Vista 64bit drivers.

Any news on the drivers for 64bit, new cards are released soon that are meant to be coming with 64bit drivers, I know that they have said the first Q of 2009, but why is the HD Storm looking like the last to get these Drivers,

While Vista 64-bit is backward-compatible with 32-bit software, it is not backward-compatible with 16-bit software, nor is it backward-compatible with 32-bit or 16-bit drivers. All drivers must be 64-bit.

This includes hardware drivers, virtual printer drivers (like PDF printers), virtual port drivers (like USB-over-network ports) and virtual communication adapters (like VPN).

This didn't answer my question about why the HDStorm was the irst to be released and and last to receive the drivers. I don't need a lesson on Vista 64bit or any 64bit OS.

I dunno Steve, BM Intensity card has been out 3 years and it doesn't have any 64 bit Vista drivers yet. HD Storm has only been out 4 weeks.
What particular capture cards do you know that have released 64 bit Vista drivers already?

Well I am sure the drivers for HDStorm Vista 64 bit are coming soon. However John, here's what you requested. Intensity 64 bit Vista Drivers + Decklink Vista 64 bit drivers + Multibridge Vista 64 bit drivers

What I was saying John all the new cards that are released this week have the 64bit Drivers with them, I guess I will just have to wait for the drivers to come out before I install it.

Sure Mark, they were released on 31 October 2008 but they're still only for CS3 which is now redundant. Still got to wait for CS4 drivers. Like GV doing 64 bit drivers for Edius 4.
How long did we wait for Vista drivers from Microsoft?
Don't worry Steve, it's almost 2009.
