Default Edius 6.5: which filter to decrease video noise?

Hi, I have a sunset clip, it is beutiful but when I see it by a large screen I see noise. With Edius 6.5 can I use a filter to decrease that video noise a little bit?
What filter or filters can I use please?
Thanks

For an Edius filter try "Median"
But for perfect results Buy "NEAT Video" they have a trial and it is fantastic and not too dear

There are a few ways this noise can be helped - and I will give you the way I've found works well with scenes that have little or no motion in them. That said - the "Motion Blur" effect, applied sparingly depending on the motion or non-motion of the scene, can often reduce video noise significantly. If the scene has a great deal of panning, zooming or motion within it, then the motion blur will do just that - and blur the motion to some degree, depending on the setting of that effect. Many times I use it at a setting of 4 to 8, with significant improvement.

But I do agree with Barry - for "NEAT Video" works wonders on ANY noisy scene. http://www.neatvideo.com/

Good luck.

I'd recommend NeatVideo as well, it takes a while to process you footage, depending on your CPU/Graphics card but it is worth the while.
