So it looks like that GV has shown Edius 6.06 at InterBEE. Unfortunately there's no official press release (neither at .com nor at .jp). Hopefully someone from GV can confirm the new feature set and give a release date.

No 3D preview version is the 3D preview version not EDIUS 6.06.
