Default Export error message Edius 6.01

In a 1440 x 1080 50i PAL project I try to export to Quicktime
DV PAL 16:9 720x576 50i bottom field 16 bit 48 Hz audio.
or Quicktime HD 1440x1080 50i Field auto cbr 2000 square pixel unticked quality setting 50Hz audio cbr.
Each time I get this error message:
Failed to export
0x80004005: Unspecified error.

Any ideas.
Thanks

Hi Mike,

Happy New Year, have you tried googling the error code, it may be a Windows thing.

Cheers,

Gordon.

pretty common error when it comes to QT export

I seen it many times and I no longer bother exporting to QT

can you supply an alternative to your customer?

MSDV DV will work perfect on Mac, so will mpeg2 HD

Hi Anton,
Thanks for that. It wasn't crucial to export to QT so that advice was good. At least it wasn't something stupid I was doing.
